1960s Kalmar Two-Tiered Iced Block Glass Chandelier

1960s, two-tiered, square, chandelier, manufactured by Kalmar Franken KG and designed by J.T Franklin in Austria. Two pieces of thick square frosted iced-glass blocks hang on each side with a second tier positioned inside hanging below with a single piece of glass on each side. The iced-glass is suspended from the steel metal frame by a single chrome feature screw through the top of each one.

Eight E14 screw in candle or pygmy bulbs are required in the first tier.  Each one is positioned to shine through each piece of glass.  A single E14 bulb sits within the smaller tier facing downwards allowing the light to shine through evenly.  Rewired by a professional electrician and in full working. The squares of frosted white opaque textured glass diffuse the light beautifully as it shines through.

I also have a pair of matching wall lights on the Retro Living website.
