1960s Kinkeldey Silver Icicle Glass Chandelier

A rare and stunning silver brass plated and cut crystal glass icicle chandelier.  Manufactured by Kinkeldey in Germany during the 1960s. The chandelier is suspended from three slim rods which attach to a circular ceiling rose.  Two circular tiers of triangular cut crystal glass are suspended around the frame with a central crown set in the middle of the silver plated brass plate.  The bulbs sit within the inside of the top of the chandelier to allow the light shimmer through the beautiful crystal prisms of glass.  It couldn't be more beautiful.

There are age related signs of tarnishing to the silver plated brass under-plate and wear to the supporting rods which is to be expected from an item of this age.  I think it adds to its heritage.  All of the glass prisms are in perfect condition.

10 screw-in E27 bulbs are required.  I would suggest the light should be fitted to a dimmer switch.  PAT tested and in full working order.
