1960s Norwegian Leather & Rosewood Lounge Chair by Sven Ivar Dysthe for Dokka Mobler



An original 1001 AF low lounge armchair designed by Sven Ivar Dysthe and manufactured in 1959 by Dokka Mobler in Norway. The frame is manufactured from a combination of Rosewood, chrome-plated metal tubes and black leather upholstery.

The black leather seat is very good condition with no splits or cracks, just some very small pitting, on the seat, at the front. The leather has been sewn together in sections to form an horizontal and vertical ribbed design. The seat tilts backwards to allow you to sit comfortably. for an optimum seating comfort. Then chair is in very good vintage condition with some minor wear and fading to the wood which is consistent with its age and past use.
