A large 1970s German space age flush mount ceiling light. Manufactured by Glashütte Limburg. The thick frosted iced glass circular shade is fixed to a metal ceiling plate via three screws which screw under a lip securing it in place.
Four Edison E27/E26 screw in lightbulbs are required each at different angles to ensure the light is evenly shed. Rewired and in full working order. I would recommend dimmable LED lightbulbs for environmental reasons, generating less heat, and for their longevity.
The exterior is smooth with the interior blasted with tiny shards of glass to obtain the iced glass effect which refracts and reflects the light within it.
In very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks to the glass.
Perfect for all rooms of the home with a low ceiling such as a bathroom, hallway or cloak room where height maybe an issue.
