Vintage 1970s German, illuminated, back-lit, wall mirror formed from a lucite glass mottled frame in the shape of a water droplet. Manufactured by Miradur-Werk, Dusseldorf. The manufacturers label is still visible on the frame. The round mirror hooks onto a white wooden hardboard frame which holds the four light bulbs in place, which can be easily screwed or hooked onto the wall. To change the four E14 screw in candle bulbs the mirror lifts off the frame easily. The bulbs are positioned to shed an even light throughout the whole frame.
The mirror would be perfect for a hallway, bedroom or above a mantelpiece. and is in very good vintage condition. It's worth noting that there is a 4cm mark which looks as though it was caused by packing tape. It's not solid with some mirror coming through beneath it. I have tried to show it in the images but it's not too noticeable especially when the mirror is lit. I would recommend the mirror be hard-wired into the wall in order to avoid a visible wire leading to a socket but this isn't always possible.
There is a pull cord which hangs from the bottom of the mirror which turns the mirror on and off.
