1970s Italian Mazzega Murano Glass Floor Lamp

1970s Italian Murano Glass floor or large table lamp designed in a very similar style of Carlo Nason for Mazzega. The light sits on a round chromed metal base with three chrome rings interspersed which separate the two matching yellow bulbous glass sections.  The large white globe sits on top of a piece of larger supporting white glass which holds it place. The light is made from hand-blown bubble glass (pulegoso). The globe does not have a bulb within it but the main body of the lamp illuminates.  A very fun and interesting piece.  There is some age related pitting to parts of the chrome specifically to the base.

Height: 95cm Diameter of the base: 36cm
