Murano hand blown 'handkerchief' glass hanging ceiling light. The light was manufactured by Kalmar Franken KG in Austria during the 1960s/1970s. The light ochre coloured glass has white horizontal stripes around the outside with a brass handle with small notches along the underside which the steel hanging wire slots into and helps to balance the shade horizontally. The lights are often called “Fazzoletto” lamps which handkerchief in Italian.
There is some age related wear to the patina of the brass handle and two small hairline cracks to the shade, which are barely noticeable, and are shown in the last image. This is reflected in the price. PAT Tested and in full working order.
A single E27 screw-in bulb is required. I would suggest a filament bulb or frosted globe bulb because it is visible from underneath.
