1970s modernist sideboard in beautiful rosewood veneer and chrome by Richard Young for Merrow Associates. Rare to find designed by Tom Lupton and Richard Young around 1963 for Merrow Associates. Incredibly well-made, constructed with a polished chrome frame and finished with sliding doors and polished chrome handles, sycamore interiors, internal drawers with dovetail joints and adjustable glass shelving. The sliding doors run smoothly to reveal adjustable glass shelving on both sides. There is some slight bubbling to the chrome on one side and some slight discolouration to the sycamore on the left hand side interior. An amazing piece which is a collectors piece and perfect for any contemporary living or dining room.
