A rare set of three 1970s German Philips rectangular wall lights or wall sconces. A row of nine squares with another smaller square set within runs down the centre of each light. The centre square has a small hole which the screw that secures it to the frame behind goes through. This can be loosened to access the bulbs behind. Running along both sides is an interesting pattern of rows of almond shaped glass creating a swimming shoal of fish pattern. On the inside of the glass there are close rows of horizontal indentations which create a silver iridescent illusion to which makes the lights sparkle.
The glass is in perfect condition. The painted white frame shows some signs of age and rust in places but they can be repainted if you require. Two small screw-in E14 bulbs are required in the frame with one facing upwards and the other down in order to spread the light evenly.
The original Philips manufacturers label is still present in each one. The price stated is for ONE wall light. 3 available. Rewired by a professional electrician and in full working order. The lights are best hard-wired into the wall.
