Bronze with deep brown patina, representing Samson standing viewing the distance, holding a torch in his hand, resting on a naturalistic base representing a rocky ground covered with ears of wheat and a jaw-bone, set on a hexagonal base. Signed on the side of the base "Leon Bonduel". 19th century Cire Perdue casting with fine chasing to achieve exquisite and realistic detail.
