An English 1930s Art Deco silver-plated serving tray or dish with four parallel grooved lines running along its length which form the handles at either end. A clever feature where the grooved handles are designed for your fingers to fit beneath and your thumbs above to hold it in place and to help stop anything on the dish being dropped or spilt. The tray sits on four small ball feet.
Hallmarked: EPNS - Electro-Plated Nickel Silver and 837509
In good original condition considering its age and use. There are some hairline scratches which are only visible in certain lights from when it's been cleaned over the years. There are some small barely noticeable scratches worth noting which don't detract from the piece. A functional or purely decorative piece. I have another one on the Retro Living website which is very similar apart from the feet which means there is a 1cm heigh difference.
