Pair of 1940s Italian large and extremely comfortable armchairs. The armchairs have a wonderful design with beautiful and generous curves on the arm and backrests. Newly upholstered in Romo Group's Zinc Drake Silver Grey Bouclé fabric. FR rated fabric. The bouclé fabric is subtly textured, soft and tactile resulting in them being very inviting to sink into and enjoy their plush comfort. The seat depth and width as well as the design of the arms makes them the perfect armchair to relax into to watch television, read a book or generally hangout. The backrests are low and the design from all angles is sleek and interesting. The armchairs are also perfect for throwing your legs over the arms which have a slight give to them and perhaps getting snug in front of a warm fire with a glass of wine in hand.
The armchairs sit on round conical-shaped stained small brown wooden feet. In very good vintage condition having been fully restored and upholstered. Love them.
