Stunning pair of rare large 1960s Murano Glass hanging pendant lights manufactured by Mazzega. Designed by Carlo Nason. The lights are formed to resemble upturned torches with the glass simulating the flames from a lit torch. The patina of the brass is beautiful. The semi-circular shade is designed with a circular hole in its bottom which allows the light from the glowing orange glass "flames" to shine through. It's amazing.
The light is in very condition vintage condition with age related wear to the brass but no chips or cracks to the glass. Three single E27 screw-in bulbs are required in each one. PAT tested and in full working order. The bulbs are based underneath the brass fitting and the glass shade is held in place by four screws which can be released to allow access whenever a bulb goes out.
These pendants would add the wow factor to most rooms of the home because their scale.
