Pair of 1970s Sische Flower Wall Sconce

A striking and unusual pair of flower wall sconces or wall lights designed by Simon and Schelle for Sische Lighting during the 1970s in Germany.  The two Murano glass four petal flowers are secured onto the brass base with screwable chrome rings. The metal base which sits inside the brass plates has two lamp-holders and two holes which secures it to the wall.  A sculptural design especially when viewed from different angles and perspectives.  The wall lights would fit well with a contemporary home as well as Art Deco, Hollywood Regency, Mid Century Modern etc. Each flower requires an E14 screw in light light bulbs up to 40 Watts each. I would recommend a silver or gold capped/crowned round bulb for added glamour.  These bulbs are available in LED format. An on/off pull cord hangs from the bottom of each light.
