Set of 6 1960s Rosewood Dining Chairs by Erling Torvits

A rare set of six Danish Rosewood stylish dining chairs designed by Erling Torvits.  Manufactured by Sorø Stolefabrik during the 1960s.  Year of design 1964. The chairs are very well made with a rich grained patina to the solid rosewood frames.  The gracefully curved backrest has a slight angle designed for additional comfort and support especially during those long dinner parties.  The chairs are of a perfect height to be able to enjoy their beauty above a dining table.  Reupholstered, fully restored and waxed.  Reupholstered and well padded in a rich chocolate faux suede. In very good vintage condition.  Some, but not all, have the original manufacturer's label.
