A vintage 1980's Toucan Huangslite desk lamp designed by H. T. Huang. This is a larger version of the lamp in teal, yellow, black and white with an adjustable bill which rotates upwards at the Toucan's eyes to act as a shade for the fluorescent light which sites beneath. The yellow on/off switch sits in the base (the version shown is black). The light can also be used as a night light when the Toucan's bill is folded down flat as shown in the first image. Designed in Taiwan by H T Huang and sold by Huangslite, it's now a collectable classic
Approximately 35cm (13.5") tall and 37cm (14") wide when the bill is extended. The base measures approx 12cm x 13cm (4.75" x 5.25")
This example comes with a UK 3-pin plug and an fluorescent tube bulb working perfectly
Cosmetic condition is excellent. There is some very minimal discolouration to the white but it is unnoticeable. But difficult to pick up from a photograph.
