1970s French earthenware ceramic table lamp with its original unique shade. The lamp base is made of earthenware, which is a type of ceramic that is fired at a high temperature. This gives the lamp a durable and hardwearing finish. The matt glaze gives it a muted shiny and glossy appearance. The lamp is a darker brown towards the base which I have highlighted in the images.
The fabric lampshade is decorated with a geometric wavy pattern in shades of brown, orange, and yellow which is typical of a 1970s design.
The lamp is in very good condition and the original shade is intact. Rewired by a professional electrician and in full working order. Requires a single E27 screw in light bulb.
Dimensions: Height to the top of the base: 30cm Height to the top of the shade: 57cm Base Diameter: 14cm Shade Height: 12inches Shade Diameter: 12.5 inches
