1970s "Beaubourg" Chair by Cadestin & Laurent

1970s the "Beaubourg Chair" designed by Michel Cadestin and George Laurent in 1976.  Manufactured by Teda. The "chair" was commissioned for the controversial Richard Rogers and Renzo Piano's Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris who conceived the idea for the chair.  The chair is constructed from a heavy and very well made tubular steel structure.  The padded seat and back are made from their original leather and held in place with round steel feature flat-head screws.

The leather has a beautiful aged patina and is very comfortable. In good vintage condition with some age related wear to the steel frame which I have left in its original state rather than polish it which is an option.

Dimensions: Depth 51cm Width: 56cm Height: 81cm Seat Height: 44cm

I have another two available which are listed separately.
