A very well made, minimalist and sleek 1970s German square glass and brushed chrome ceiling hanging light. In the style of Kaiser Leuchten.  After a lot of research I haven't been able to obtain its provenance.  Eight pieces of heavy thick ribbed clear glass is secured onto the frame with a single cylindrical screw which sits towards the top on the inside.  The vertical square chrome support slots into a wider ridge in the centre of the glass.  One on top of the other.  There are two in a skyscraper style - one on top of the other.  The front of the glass is ridged vertically and horizontally on the inside therefore diffusing the light beautifully.  A chrome tube hides the metal lightbulb holders and is only visible from the side.

Eight Edison E14 screw in lightbulbs are required.  Four on the top and four facing downwards on the bottom. Rewired and in full working order.

I also have a matching pair of wall lights on the Retro Living website.  I think they'd look amazing together in a living, dining room or bedroom.

In good vintage condition.  No chips or cracks to the glass.  The frame shows some discolouration to the chrome in places.  No rust.  There's a scratch on the lacquered black outside of the ceiling cup.
