1970s Space Age, UFO shaped, German hanging ceiling light with five cascading chrome shades each suspended on a black flex. Manufactured by Honsel Leuchten in Germany. The globes hang from a five pointed white plastic star ceiling holder which suspends them far enough away from each other to help stop them colliding. Each of the polished chrome shades has a white glossy interior to help reflect the light from within. The globes can be arranged in different formations or heights by adjusting the flexes to your specific specifications.
An E26/E27 Edison screw in lightbulb is required in each one preferably a LED - 5 in total.
Rewired by a professional electrician and in full working order. In good vintage condition with some age related discolouration to the white interiors which isn't noticeable when the bulbs are in place. One or two of the polished chrome shades have some small dents where they have collided with each other in the past. The white plastic rings at the top of each shade are showing some age related discolouration and deterioration specifically around the edges.
A stunning light which would be perfect perhaps for a hallway staircase where the ceiling is high or in a living/dining room above a dining table or breakfast bar in a kitchen.
