A 1970s space-age, adjustable, arc floor lamp in the style of other lamps designed by Italian designer Harvey Guzzini. The height is adjustable. The sliding rod is secured in place by a large feature chrome screw-turn knob which allows the metal pole with the shade attached to slide up and down on the lower metal supporting section. The chrome supporting rod sits on a heavy metal white base holding it in place and stopping it from falling over.
The original white acrylic hood sheds a wonderful diffused light making it perfect for reading over a chair or sofa. A single E27 screw in bulb sits in the centre of the shade. A push button foot operated switch sits on the clear flex which turns the light on and off. PAT tested and rewired. The base has some small dents and rust marks commensurate with its age and use. The base is usually hidden behind a sofa or in a corner behind a chair. There are some rust marks around the chrome section where the shade meets the frame.
