1970s Merrow Associates glass and chrome based dining table designed by Richard Young. The dining table features a chrome-plated steel base with a glass top which sits on top of the frame unsecured. The table could be used as a desk or even a wide console table depending on the glass you wish to place on it.Merrow Associates was known as an upmarket brand which was only sold at the time in Harrods and Heals.
I have four pieces of glass which you can choose from but illustrated in two of the images:
Smaller round smoked glass (some small chips and scratches): Diameter: 91cm H: 71cm
Original Glass - Large round smoked glass (one small chip): Diameter: 137cm H: 71cm
Smaller rectangular clear glass (this glass has a lot of chips): L: 131 1/2 cm W: 91 1/2cm H: 71cm
Larger rectangular clear glass (small chips on the edge - See images): L: 151 cm W: 92 cm H: 71cm
The base is in very good vintage condition. It maybe more cost effective, if you live outside of the UK, to ship the base only and purchase the glass wherever you're located. I am happy to deduct £150 from the price if this is the case.
