1970s vintage Romanian four-colour glass bowl or dish formerly known as an ashtray. Each aperture is edged with a different colour rim of ruby red, yellow, blue and green. The clear glass bowl with a light green tint is formed into an irregular circular shape which makes the piece quirky and fun as well as very tactile due to its smooth and interesting exterior. The bowl will add a blast of colour and interest to your coffee table or perhaps on a display shelf or cabinet. The bowl id particularly striking as part of a collection. The same ashtrays come in lots of different shapes, colours and sometimes they come with only three apertures. The base and one side on this piece has some scratches commensurate with its age as well some tiny chips which I feel add to its character.
