1970s Driftwood Rustic Rectangular Table Lamp

A large and rather impressive vintage rustic driftwood rectangular table lamp.  Made in England.  This double lightbulb table lamp is well made with vertical pieces of gnarly twists of driftwood which have a natural well-worn aged patina to them.  The driftwood is mounted onto a natural wood base with a lower black painted plinth below it on the bottom.  Each root is unique and varies in shape and size as they rise from the base upwards towards the bulbs.  A natural cotton shade is a perfect addition.

These lamps are often made from pieces of driftwood that have been collected from beaches or other bodies of water. The driftwood is then cleaned and treated, and then assembled into a lamp base. The lamps are often finished with a natural oil or varnish to protect the wood.

Driftwood table lamps can be a great way to add a touch of nature and character to your home specifically to cabins in your garden or in a natural setting perhaps by a lake, mountains or a chalet.

Rewired and in working condition.  An on/off switch is fitted to the flex and easily accessible. 2 x E27 Edison screw in bulbs are required.  In very good vintage condition.
