Set of 4 1960s Dining Chairs by Sven Ivar Dysthe for Dokka Mobler

Set of 4 original dining chairs designed by Sven Ivar Dysthe and manufactured by Dokka Mobler in Norway. The frame is manufactured from a combination of Rosewood, chrome-plated metal tubes and brown leather upholstery.

The original brown leather is in a worn condition with some wear and tear in places which is reflected in the price. I think it adds to their provenance and character but they could be reupholstered if required. The Rosewood side panels and backrest have been restored and repolished. The chairs are rare to find and look amazing as a set. Overall they're in a very good vintage condition with some minor wear and fading to the wood which is consistent with their age and past use.

3001 series.
