An unusual set of 4, Italian 1960s Casino Bar Stools, with swivel seats and high backrests designed for those long nights at the Roulette or Craps Tables. Incredibly well made and fully functional the ruby red vinyl padded seats and high backrests are formed to fully support the back. The angled black metal tubular legs taper outwards and at the bottom of each there is a brass ball foot. A metal chromed brass ring supports the feet. Over time the chromed brass finish has worn away to reveal the shrome beneath resulting in a two-tone effect. The original vinyl seats have been beautifully stitched and are still in very good condition considering their age and past commercial use. There are one or two small tears in places. I don't think it's worth reupholstering them and they just add to their amazing provenance. However, you may think differently. I haven't been able to identify their manufacturer. I am therefore assuming that they are bespoke and made specifically for a specific commercial establishment.
