Set of 4, Art Deco, Model A811 armchairs featuring hand-woven cane seats and backs. The A811 was designed by Austrian architects Josef Hoffman and Josef Frank for Thonet in the 1920s. 3 of the chairs have had their seats replaced by an expert restorer and the wooden frame has been lovingly and caringly restored but retain their original patina. There are some signs of repair which have been conducted over the years to help reinforce the joints and seats. The chairs are very comfortable and functional.
